Welcome to my virtual kitchen where I write about nutritious (mostly plant-based) recipes, teach how to make healthy simple by getting rid of the “rules” and restrictions we place on ourselves, and believe that we all have the power to live our best life through healthier choices and a grateful perspective.

I’ve got a burning desire to make healthy simple both on and off your plate to increase confidence and energy from within. Because I believe that healthy doesn’t have to be hard with the right tools, knowledge and accountability.

I’ve been fortunate to work with hundreds of clients to help them transform into a better version of themselves, whether their goal is to lose weight, increase energy, debunk digestive issues and improve gut health, clear up acne or learn how to challenge their personal status quo when it comes to health and nutrition.

Whether I’m working with a client one-on-one, teaching a group through a wellness workshop or cooking class, or connecting with my community online, I love being a part of that “aha moment.” The uncomfortable becomes comfortable, the scary starts to feel like security, and the hard work becomes mindless. This moment can occur when a client begins to reach her goals in a sustainable way, the experience of a nutritious meal, or a new-found confidence in making a recipe I’ve shared at home. This moment is what I crave most in my work and keeps me fueled to do more of what I love!

Whether I’m working with a client one-on-one, teaching a group through a wellness workshop or cooking class, or connecting with my community online, I love being a part of that “aha moment.”

So, how did I get here?

Believe me when I say I get it. My story starts with years of covering up acne with layers of makeup and my hands strategically trying to cover my face hoping no one would notice it was that bad. I’ve got a history of body confidence issues that would ebb and flow depending on how much I cared what other people thought or how badly I wanted what I thought others had that I didn’t. I found myself in a toxic relationship that turned into a marriage where I held on to false hope that maybe one day things would change (it didn’t). I spent my days fueled by coffee and nights barely keeping my eyes open past dinner time. Several years into my corporate job I had a gut feeling I was created for something more. This is what began the journey towards self-discovery, growth and a passion turned career that I am in love with.

I learned that I needed to take responsibility for my health, happiness and future because no one was going to do it for me (no matter how badly I wanted them to). It was time to stop putting so much value into what others’ thoughts were and to start valuing my own.

It all started with a daily smoothie that, with time, transformed the way I view what I put on my plate.

The decision to quit my corporate job and create my own path was a pivotal moment because it forced me to discover who I was and the calling I felt drawn to that was greater than myself. I began to heal myself emotionally and mentally by surrounding myself with a community that inspired and encouraged me to live the life I craved and started consciously making the choices I needed to get there. I also started healing myself physically by incorporating more nutrient-dense foods and healthier habits into my day. It all started with a daily smoothie that with time, transformed the way I view what I put on my plate.

If there’s anyone who is on the sideline cheering you on as you work towards a healthier you, it’s me. I’ve been on the frontline and I know what it feels like. I’ve walked through it, and if I can do it, so can you. It can by easy to sacrifice vibrant health and a life you love by convincing yourself of a new normal. But you deserve so much more than that. I can’t wait to come alongside you and help you discover your best self through whole, nutritious foods and healthier choices!
